Brel Bar !! CANCELLED !!

Sorry Glasgow!!!I'm afraid I'm in a bag here (a Belfast term for 'not doing so good'). My throat is playing up. Nothing serious thankfully, I just need rest. As I start of on this UK tour, it won't be just the dates on the site, I'm also playing at various Prisons up and down the country, which is gonna be great, but very tiring. For this reason I can't afford to start the tour feeling anything less than 100%. I hope you understand.
Sorry to those that have bought tickets.
YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT WE PLAN RESCHEDULE THE GIG AT THE BREL BAR FOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!
The second I know of the new date I'll let you know... I'm off to bed to sleep like cement left out in the rain...x

U were on fire in Dundalk, that was a classic gig. It was all good. I enjoyed Tom Stone too. Not sure about the embarrassment when you related the story of meeting me in HMV in Belfast. Actually I was secretly thrilled ha ha. Our house was robbed on Saturday night and I though we had lost the signed (remember me ....?) copy of "Hope" which is proudly sitting in our big room. Have to go now but I will give u more feedback on the album. The first time I heard it I cried at "I was made" and played it 7 times in a row. U did a beautiful version of it at Dundalk too for which I thank u.

Jus recently aquired ur album after recommendation from a friend and havent took it outa my cd player since, do u know of any sources where I can get the chords and lyrics for your songs, would love to learn them! They do say imatation is the highest form of flattery haha. Well hope to get a reply from u dude...

You posted on myspace about canceling the brelbar, and when i read the notice, i saw you were on at fibbers in york! We immediatly saddled the horses and made our way down from redcar! Well worth while, as always an intense passionate performance, quite mesmerising. We feel enriched for having been there, thank you. We look forward to the next time we see you

We met briefly at the Roisin Dubh gig. We have spoken about it to a number of our friends and the sense that there was you and us - the audiance and Someone else present. The atmoshpere was profound as you moved outside the box - Well done mighty warrior. Oh, between songs I went to the bar to get a Guinness - the barman, as he placed the pint in front of me profoundly blessed me with this - 'enjoy that'. There are firsts for everything. Keep up the pioneering work.

al replied 71 days after.ahh willie! thats hectic! if its any consolation i was at the gig and had to leave after the second song because my friends collapsed! GUTTED (dont worry shes ok now) that makes it 2 people now who want him to get his ass back to glasgow so we can actually see him this time :D!
